Book of Mormon is Over-rated.

After all the raves about this being the funniest comedy on Broadway, I wonder whether I saw the same show. At best, this show is amusing, here and there. On a positive note, the dancing was wonderful, and there was ONLY one scene that was spectacular and that was the Hell scene. The set, the lighting, the costumes and the dancing in this one scene were wonderfully done. A big negative, and an important one, is that the mic's or speakers were so very loud we couldn't understand what the heck they were singing or saying. And I think some of the "funny " lines might be in these songs but we couldn't catch them. We were a group of 19 and with 1 or 2 exceptions, most agree with this critique. Put this one on the bottom of your list. There are so many great comedies on and off Broadway. If you really want some laughs, see The Play That Goes Wrong.
